Social Work Subject Matter Expertise:

Kathy brings a wealth of expertise in social work, having served as the former Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Social Workers. In this role, she spearheaded comprehensive consultations that resulted in the development and implementation of a national code of ethics for social work. Her leadership extends to influential documents, including a psychosocial care guide for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and guidelines on antiracism. Additionally, Kathy has made her mark in academia, publishing twice on social work ethics in Canadian textbooks.
